Join Best Buddies Connecticut for the Best Buddies CT Golf Classic at Lyman Orchards Golf Club. "Tee one up for a buddy" and support friendship programs for people with intellectual disabilities in Connecticut.
This outing will host a full field of golfers and feature a day of stimulating golf, dynamic contests and delightful food and beverage as well as amazing raffle and auction packages.
We are proud to host this tournament on the "Player Course" which is ranked among CT's Top Ten Public Golf Courses, the Best of the Northeast and recognized by the nationally acclaimed Zagat Survey and Zagat.com.
Designed by world-renowned player and golf course designer Gary Player, "The Player Course" will take you through the apple orchards and offers ample elevation changes throughout the design.
This course can be played from 4,667 to 6,600 yards and offers a stellar mix of par 3's that average 210 yards from the tips. On holes 11 and 13, golfers are treated to 360-degree views of southern Connecticut's picturesque landscape.
The Player Course rewards well-positioned drives and accurate iron play with 34 bunkers protecting relatively small greens.
Registration begins at 7:30 am with complimentary breakfast. Spend some time warming up at the driving range, test your skill on the putting green and peruse the silent auction items before an 8:30 am shot gun start.
We'll play a scramble format with on course contests and complementary refreshments. After golf feast at our post golf reception outside under the tent, celebrate with the awarding of tournament prizes and bid on amazing auction packages. All players will receive their own Lyman's apple pie to bring home!
