Best Buddies Midnight Madness
Sacred Heart University

March 27, 2010

Fundraising Deadline Extended to April 17, 2010

On March 27th, the hunt is on as students race to the finish in the hottest craze to hit the nation's college campuses.

Best Buddies Midnight Madness is an off-the-wall Treasure Hunt with teams consisting of 6-10 players that ends with a concert after party and awards ceremony at midnight.

Amidst the fun, individuals fundraise to support Best Buddies Connecticut, a nonprofit dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities!

Are you ready to join the most amazing Treasure Hunt ever? Grab a group of your friends and sign up today! Registration takes just a few minutes and you will get a customizable fundraising webpage to raise money to support friendship programs for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Best Buddies.

On the day of the event, your team will pick up the photo tour list at the check-in area. You and your teammates will then embark on a wild hunt collecting pictures of your team doing crazy tasks like having your entire team dressed for a wedding in toilet paper. At the end of the day, each team will enjoy the night at a concert after party and an awards ceremony.

The Board of Directors is a group of student volunteers who are currently hard at work planning all of the details for Midnight Madness event. If you are interested in applying to join the Board of Directors, please contact
Emilie Latainer at (914) 943-6728 or at latainere@sacredheart.edu.

Bountiful booty will be awarded for the following:

1st, 2nd, & 3rd place teams

Top team
Top individual

Our generous sponsors have given us some awesome items this year! Don't miss out!

Last year's Midnight Madness prizes included: laptops, iPods, movie passes, Red Bull, digital cameras, theme park passes, and more!

All event proceeds benefit
Best Buddies Connecticut.

What if one day you woke up and felt sad and alone- isolated from the rest of the world? You had no one to go to a movie with, no one to share your life with.

For the 7.5 million Americans, and 200 million worldwide, with intellectual disabilities, that very scenario is an everyday reality.

Best Buddies is a nonprofit organization that enhances the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities by providing opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development.
